They had Stoerner on with the Dr of football.

Stoerner seemed to be harping pretty hard against change at the coaching level. It is a big change. You have to give a guy his time. Coaches look at that... yada yada.

He is so matter of fact...

Stoerner was also one of the first ones to support the hire when it was made publicly on twitter.

I'm against game losing turnovers. it doesnt mean Clint is a bad guy hes just not right for crunch time QB decision.

I'm against going winless in the sec twice. it doesnt mean chad is a bad guy hes just not right for sec head coach right now.

Clint needs to just admit he was wrong about Chad and move on.

He's part of the problem. So many egos attached to every coaching search....

Clint was a great Razorback but his takes are moronic.

He was a Chad cheerleader and is generally wrong about a lot.

Clint is a frickin moron.

Id rather rake my balls across glass than hear him try to put together a coherent take about college football.

I haven't listened in a few years since I live in FL, but Drivetime has always been the worst sports talk show in Arkansas (and probably several states).

Their opinions always seem to lag about 2 years behind the actual fans or are just flat out outlandish. They don't seem to have any actual inside sources either, unless you count Tardville. Some of their suggestions during the coaching search(es) have been laughable and epitomize everything wrong with our fanbase, and the callers are all idiots.

Long story short, you're better off not listening.

I love Clint, but he's dumber than a box of rocks.

Its entertainment. I get a kick out of Rick and his personality. He is a good dude at at heart. He is serious, calm, and reasoned. Has he ever cussed, smoked a cigarette, done a drug or drank, or gotten laid? He comes off as a choir boy all grown up. Randy is a good counter personality. I picture this photo when Rick talks.

Was just looking at some stuff about Morris and it’s hard to fathom how he did all of this with how awful our offense has looked under him. I mean we haven’t even been close to a fraction of that.

quote:

The 2017 SMU offense marked the fourth time and third different program that Morris has coached that has finished in the top 10 in the FBS in scoring average at more than 40 points per game. The Mustangs were one of just two FBS teams that featured a 3,000-yard passer, 1000-yard rusher and multiple 1,000-yard receivers in 2017.

I’d say level of competition has much to do with that.

high scheme requires a rock solid qb. ben hicks is a good web for SMU. hes meh for the sec. starkel has the arm but seems like he struggles reading a defense and with decision making under pressure. also he seems immature at times. which wouldn't be a problem but hes a grad transfer at this point I dont see it improving much.

Lack of D1 coaching experience other than Chief.
