Oh look, another example of stats not telling the entire story. LSU has won at Texas and beat a top ten Florida team. Ohio State's best opponent? Cincinnati? Michigan State? More teams would go undefeated with OSU's schedule thus far than LSU's schedule thus far. As much as I use logic and facts to make my decisions, facts without proper context are completely useless.

This is not a real scenario but:

A. Playing #1, 2, 3 and three FCS teams or
B. Playing six teams ranked from 40-60.

More teams would have a better record with scenario B, but the SOS would like state that scenario B is "stronger" than scenario A. Moral of the story: Use your brain and think things through - do not solely rely on what you read or hear.
