Alabama is most heavily penalized team in SEC. With 21 calls against them in two SEC games

And 14 in 3 out of conference games. So it is the SEC officials who are on a record pace of calls against a member institution.
Important to note that this is not a complaint but another issue that the Tide must work through. As you can be sure we deserve them. And it's likely a result of playing so many freshmen in starting and prominent roles. We cannot hope to have success against teams like LSU if we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot in conference games or road games against Texas A&M or at Auburn.

Goddamn fricking LSU refs. Move the SEC offices!

They're penalizing them rn because they know it won't affect the result rn. But once the big games come around, the whistle will be swallowed.

Refs cranking up the numbers on these early season cakewalks so all the no-calls balance out at the end of the year.

And it's not always the number of penalties called, but the timing and type that get called...or not called.

What you’re beginning to see is Alabama fatigue nationally. The dollars are drying up and thus, the SEC must find another cash cow.
It’s over. Accept it and move on.

This like TSA doing random screening when it isn't busy
Just getting them in now so year averages out

I hear you. An Ohio State opponent has not had one holding call against them this year. We have Chase Toung creating havoc and apparently he hasn’t been held once.

Sound like a team that is poorly coached with a lack of discipline.

Why do bama players feel they gotta cheat to beat cupcakes?

The LSU referee analytics department will be along shortly to uncover and breakdown the nefarious plot devised by the secret underground SEC/Alabama alliance. It typically goes something like this:
Rational fans: Bama gets penalized more than any other team in the SEC
LSU analysts: They’ve instructed the officials to call penalties in blowouts to avoid suspicion during the big games.
Rational fans: Yeah, but the data doesn’t support that. Bama is still at a net penalty disadvantage in games against ranked teams
LSU analysts: Right, but in those games they only call penalties at crucial game-altering moments in order to avoid suspicion
Rational fans: That seems dubious. Do you have any data to support your assertion?
LSU analysts: Yes, the league offices are in Hoover
Rational fans: okay, that’s a central location that was agreed to 71 years ago. Pretty sure Alabama’s scheming boosters could control the officials just as easily if they were in Atlanta or Nashville. They’ve got their own jets you know...

Auburn had 9 penalties Saturday.

Don't bother, they are too dumb to realize this.

My exact point. Or a team forced to play a ton of guys in prominent roles who were not ready. As in raw freshmen.

This is the first time in years there are some SEC teams worse off than us with opponent's penalties, so some of the REC money must have cleared.
LSU is the worst in the conf right now at #128. We've been getting shafted in this area for more than a decade, but now LSU and some other conf teams are getting a taste of it.
We are still #85 though.
88 Georgia
95 Missouri
104 Texas A&M
121 Mississippi State
128 LSU

All this does is bring out the tinfoil hat brigade.

In big games they decide to “let-them-play” until a team playing Alabama has a big play, then expect the holding call against that team. Or it is tied for three quarters, Bama is being challenged, they allow those Bama blocks to be sustained or allow a push in the back to free someone up. When their is no threat of loss, Bama gets flagged at the same rate as anyone else. Three losses of LSU to Bama was directly assisted by the refs. Bama could not win as much as they do in big games without assistance. They do not get help, Clemson shite stomps them...
