I didn’t realize Mizzou had been this good over the last 2 seasons (24 games)

Hmm, I didn’t realize this either. Must be because of the out of conference losses.

I mean, that stops right when we began our winning streak in 2017.

So our record over the last 29 games is 17-12

That’s still a better record than you would think. Based on the level of fan support.

I get that a specific portion of the fans left and won’t come back after the 2015 events.

BO’s overall is 22-20.
Throw in the 2015 post-protest record of 1-2 and you have a record of 23-22 since the protest. So if you think the protest is a marker of fan support, we’re basically .500 post protest.

The protests pretty much wiped out the last 10 years of Pinkel’s work. The level of fan support that Odom inherited was basically at the same level Pinkel did.

I don’t think that’s accurate. But it does give a ready excuse.

If guess it’s pretty accurate.

But nobody is making excuses, unless we are excusing fans for not showing up to games...BO is putting together a solid program.

I just don’t get why so many of you are so reluctant to admit this.

In stadium attendance is eroding all across college football. Too easy to watch on tv may be 1 issue. The SEC, OU, Texas and a handful of big 10 programs are now the exception not the norm.

Mizzou drew over 60k in 2015 for both SEMO and UCONN. How many 60k attendance games has Mizzou had since the protest? Maybe 1 or 2.

When Pinkel came attendance was usually around 45k. So fan support is a little better, but nowhere near where it was beginning in 2006

There were sellouts still happening before Pinkel took over.

Regardless of reason, our attendance has plummeted to early 90s levels.

Larry Smith’s last year, we had multiple games in the 60s. That’s only piece of fan support though. And it would have to be measured versus the overall trends.

It’s really not that bad. We had multiple games in the 30s in 1993. The only game we broke 40k was Illinois for the season opener.

I wasn’t old enough for the Larry Smith days. I did go to games every year early in the Pinkel era and it was usually below 50k until he had Daniel, Maclin and Spoon.

Gabe is really cherry picking his dates here. He should have also left out the weeks we lost

Gabe should also post SOS for those 24 games as I'm betting Missouri is about 14th
