It would have been a bad idea to take OU, though while Big 10 took Rutgers and Maryland, and I suppose that's why we took aTm.

You can't have 2, 3, or 4 national contenders in the same comference every year. That helps the perception, but hurts the results.

So you want the SEC to take texas but not OU?

Sounds like something a texas alter would say.

Has worked for the SEC for generations. Steel sharpens steel. The SEC has become the best conference across multiple sports by having depth in each sport.

Really?

Longhorn Network has been a disaster
PACN has been a disaster
BTN is behind the SECN
ACCN has programming nobody wants to watch for lack of depth

Why don't you wander back to your B12 boards and watch texas become a mid major while TAMU and MU fund major upgrades across all their sports to accommodate more fan interest in their new homes.
