You should see some of the things that we all pay for that are considered “rights”.
Government handouts are the biggest waste of money ever. We would be better off burning that money and using it to generate electricity.

Im pretty sure the funds for all flyovers are now budgeted by the military as part of training.

Why? This is the same state that gave us red flag Dan and a Lt. Governor that agrees. It’s time we stop seeing Texas as this bastion for patriots and constitutional conservatives.

Army pilots are required to log a certain number of hours to stay current. This is extremely difficult for NG warrants and officer’s, being that it’s a part time gig. I would assume that these birds are coming from Ellington Airfield, which means that they are from the Reserve component. So if guys are already conducting routine training flights, why would you not try to get them involved?
Texas Guard pilots = Texas State funding.

It’s absolutely budgeted and FAR from a a waste. Some people can’t help their ignorance and just expect the worst. These same people look for something to be upset about in a lot of aspects of life. It’s frustrating. I’ll leave it at that.

I’m from Louisiana, and that will always be home. After clearing active duty and starting undergrad, I joined the LA Guard for “keep me level headed” purposes. A few months later I transferred to a unit in Texas because of funding. Or better yet, the lack there of.
frick aTm, UT, etc... BUT, Texas does fund their Guard units far better than any other state.
