For me personally, this would be in my top 5. I was a freshman that year, our first year in the SEC and it cost Johnny Majors his job. I always remembered it to be James "Little Man" Stewart that Hank hit on that two point conversion attempt. I think Heath Shuler was the QB.

What got Johnny fired was him losing to Arkansas, Alabama AND THEN us ... three in a row. Then Fulmer took over and won the next four against winkin, blinkin, and knod .... Memphis, Kentucky and Vsnderbilt and then he won their bowl game against BC if I remember correctly. They started the season on a big roll beating everybody but then Majors had the heart attack. I think they finished #12 in the country that year but they had a loaded team that underachieved.

It was both Arkansas' and ours first year in the league and we both beat them. Alabama was their only other loss and Bama went on to win the National Championship over Miami.

Never been more surprised to win a game than 2000 UGA. Just snapped a 21 game losing streak and the Dawgs come in with national championship dreams and a Top 10 ranking. The defense was as hot as Columbia was that day and the goalposts came down for the second straight week.

Are you referencing the 2007 UGA team or the 2001 UGA team IBG? Because we beat both of them I think .... and both of those UGA teams won the Sugar Bowl and finished #4 in the country. Wait, maybe that was actually the 2002 UGA team that beat FSU in the Sugar Bowl in 2003 and the 07 team beat Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl?

That 2002 game against UGA was the one where David Pollack stripped the ball away from Corey Jenkins in the endzone to win the game for them and I think Andrew Pinnock fumbled a pitch from Petty maybe, at the goalline, that would have won it for us with time running out.

Someone may remember that game, the specific year, better than I.

While the 1984 "upset" win over UGA is listed, I feel the bigger game from that year was vs #11 FSU. That game had the same feel of the 2012 UGA game. Electric.

2012 Georgia game was not an upset regardless of the line. the 2010 Alabama game was between two highly talented teams that sent a lot of players to the NFL. it was the biggest win in Carolina football history but not the biggest upset.
