Auburn's only home and home series in the last 10 years was Clemson (twice)

That is 4 home and home games in 10 years.
Better than Bama?

Wisconsin is notoriously AWFUL at OOC schedules - their only good OOC schedules in the last decade have been playing Alabama and LSU 2x (all neutral site)

Yet they schedule more home and homes than Bama and still manage 3 neutral sites against the SEC in the past 10 years.

Oregon has played.......Michigan State and Tennessee? Virginia? Their 2 best OOC games have been Auburn and LSU (neutral site)

So in a decade, they have 6 home and home games and 2 more neutral sites. Better than Bama?

I understand the strains of putting a schedule out years in advance. I mean, your AD might have to purchase software with a calendar that goes out to 2030 to be able to manage that. How does every other team in the country manage? Maybe they do it at noon on Saturday because they have night games in September.

Sorry - I still maintain that playing a good team at a neutral site is a more difficult endeavor than playing 3-4 win P5 teams on the road. We seem to differ in that opinion, and that's fine.

I've personally watched Alabama play 4-5 win teams over the last decade on the road. There is zero difference. None. Nada. Zilch.

So, forgive me, but I do not believe that there is any argument to be made that playing Oregon State, Rutgers, Illinois, Arizona State, an OOC version of Tennessee (that's every P5 team the teams above played in the last 6 years H&H, FYI) is more difficult than scheduling a P5 neutral site game against a Top 20 team.

We clearly disagree on that. That's fine I guess.

I prefer home and home and am glad we are doing them - but from a purely competitive standpoint, scheduling neutral site games against Clemson (08), Virginia Tech (09), Florida State (17), Michigan (12) and Wisconsin (15) is absolutely without a doubt a more difficult schedule than road games against Oregon State (Wisconsin), Tennessee (Oregon), Rutgers (Washington), Illinois (Washington) and Syracuse (LSU).

So, agree to disagree I guess. I'm hitting the hay, good chat

Jesus Christ, what is your obsession with home and home games? You really think a home and home against Virginia somehow trumps playing teams like Clemson, Michigan, Florida State, and USC at neutral sites?
