I don't think I ever expected to see the day that LSU succeeded in spite of their defense instead of because of it.

There's a greater difference between Alabama's defense and LSU's (13.8 points) than between LSU's and Oklahoma's (5.5 points). Oklahoma is the only defense worse than LSU's in the top 12.

Missouri's loss at Wyoming was bad but it was also a total statistical fluke.

Doesn't make it any better but they dominated the game and had a couple back breaking turnovers

Play a team with a pulse and get back to me. Your defense will get exposed before it’s all said and done


At least we learned early on we need to fix some things before conference play
