He seemed a little more humble than usual, hopefully Mullen had some long talks with him about focusing on football and cutting out the other shite. So much untapped talent, he still has the potential to be a great QB.

If you listen to Mullen, he doesn't have a problem with Frank's off field behavior....look around and the strutting and show boating is widespread in college football.

I think the only issue is the execution of plays...but even that isn't a huge glaring problem with Mullen. He said in his presser that folks who criticize Franks don't know what the play call was, what the WR was supposed to do..etc etc. And Franks is blocking those negative thoughts and the only one who counts is Mullen and Johnson.

Im old fashioned and wish players would simply hand the ball to a ref after scoring...but those days are gone. I am going to learn to watch and deal with emotional surges in a game.

As a fan base we look really bad right now. We really need to stop bashing the kid so hard.

The entire country was bashing him a week ago. Maybe they have a point? Maybe he does need to do more and trash talk less?

People trash QBs who don't get the job done all the time, I'm not sure why everyone is so sensitive over this particular one.

Mulled didn't care for it...and he said that nobody likes being criticized constantly by people who don't know jack.

If some of us had to put up with the constant bashing that kid has gotten...we might sing a different tune...but the gist of what Mullen stated in his presser is that He is teaching Franks to only listen to him and coach Johnson.

Once we go 5-0 or 6-0 fans will forget about everything and love Franks...its comical how bad Gator fans are to their own. We chased Spurrier away because he got tired of the bitching after 1 loss...he felt the newer fans were spoiled and had no clue about the hardships we went through in the 1960s-80s.

It’s a bit overwhelming at this point.

Because it's not like he plays terrible. He played decent..beats Miami...then gets slammed like he is the worst QB on the planet.

From all I've heard the kid is a great kid. Never in trouble off the field, always happy to meet fans, very soft spoken. So he gets a little cocky on game day...maybe that's how he motivates himself? I am not a huge fan of it but it is what it is. He needs to improve, but not going to go on twitter and tell him he sucks like some 12 year old kid.

i think the issue was the trash talk before and after the interceptions. apparently, they weren't humbling enough for him according to fans.

franks "runs dis".

I would say that his teammates count as well. They all seem to have his back and they respect him.

Franks may be a shithead but he is our QB1 shithead. As long as he has the support of the coaches and the team I will back him.

I think his attitude just throws kerosene on the entire affair, and I've already said several times that he really didn't have a terrible game.

He just didn't have a game, season or career to warrant his behavior.

Franks gets the kinda of bashing that a top paid QB in the NFL would get for being bad . I find it odd that he gets all of the criticism but Mullen and the backups don’t get any. It shows that some people just don’t like him for what ever reason and will always blame him .

I don't like mouthy players, so he is not my favorite, but I would rather he be cocky than meek. I support him 100% as long as he is on the team. I learned a long time ago that I am not going to like everyone on the team, be it players or coaches.

I support people as long as they deserve to be supported.

I would probably find it much easier to support him if his head was in the right place -- but he just never seems to really get there.

Where is the calm, collected and mature QB we had during Michigan and FSU? Why was he so easily rattled in this early game?

We know he can do it. Why won't he?

I’ve been listening to the radio all week the fan base has been nuts about this. We just need to chill.

The radio is where kooks go to talk, the majority of the fan base for whatever reason supports his middling play and poor attitude. People vent to the radio because no one listens in real life (especially to negativity.)

We can be objective and criticize someone. War without hate, and all of that jazz.

I'm rooting for him more now because of the criticism.

I hope he shushes the crowed repeatedly.

"Please daddy Franks tell me to shut up."

What on Earth is going on with this fan base?

Most cucks don't like other men telling them what to do, but who am I to judge?
