Last season isn’t all on Stidham. He probably would’ve done well if he had an OL and a running game. He just gave up too much and made bad decisions under pressure. Nix was under pressure during long developing pass plays and still made better decisions though he still needs to learn to trust the pocket himself and not run himself out of a pocket. Smaller sample size albeit.

Good observation.
During the game, I was getting a little irritated at Nix, bc at times he would start to roll out, thinking the pushback from the D was a breakdown in pressure. When, if he just moved a little in the pocket, he had time to find an open WR and make a completion.

But he is better, bc he is more nimble and quicker at scrambling than Stidham.

He really didn't do this that often unless he needed to. Y'all just expect a true frosh to do that. He mightve done it a couple times but it definitely wasn't enough to consider an issue yet.
