I'm giving Morris 3 years to sort out the O-Line issues and let the freshmen he recruited develop. By the end of next year we'll have a much better picture here. But the lack of improvement of the O-Line at this point is my main concern.

3 years is fair, 4 is ideal imo. As I said I support as long as the win totals increase, once they dip (significantly, not just 1-2 games) then I get concerned. Bert lost me after the back to back blown leads to end the 16 season. He dropped from 8 to 7 wins and I could’ve lived with that but not to end the season like we did. That was his 4th year, more than fair.

that oline is night and day better from where we were with Bert's last year

I agree. I expect us to field a team next year that wins. I don't expect 10 wins and titles, but 6 wins should be reasonable. By year 4, though, I expect to be a pretty good team. If not, then Chad won't make it through his 5th season.
