It would be great for the SEC and the nation if Oregon beat auburn Saturday next.

auburn and their culture of cheating and disrespectful attitude and unsportsmanlike behavior is a drag on the culture of college football.

No one likes them except people who attend the Opelika Rodeo and farmers. They seem perpetually angry, rude, unhappy with their lives, mostly ugly and fat and hick-like and have faint hints of manure about their bodies.

Oregon, on the other hand, is light and fluffy and refreshing with their cool uniforms and intelligent student body.

They represent enlightenment and progress and what college football should be about. Their fans bathe regularly, have modern clothes, and properly maintain themselves. The Oregon players are much better educated and will have productive lives after football.

No positives will result in an auburn win. Go Orgeron!

At least Auburn is playing an out of conference team with a pulse.

totally disagree with you there

Haven't spent much time in Portland or around any antifa groups have you? They smell like arse and dress like shite. Now I am not saying every Oregon is in antifa or is a communist, but I bet it is a much higher percentage than Auburn(home of Rightside Broadcasting)

Why I am pulling for Auburn to lose? Because frick Auburn that 's why.

Incorrect.

I live in Oregon.

I have zero desire to see Duck fans crowing about how they beat a quality SEC team.

Much better reason than OP gave IMHO.

I will actually be pulling for Auburn. I always pull for the SEC in OOC play. I just enjoy keeping the ongoing "frick Auburn" joke going around here.

Alabama is only SEC team whose success has been a drag on college football, and it is not even their fault, they've just been so much better than everyone else over the course of the last ten years.

ETA: And good luck convincing the SEC Rant to cheer for Oregon over Auburn because of the political situation in Oregon compared to Auburn. If anything, that would be the only way to convince most of the board that they should cheer for Auburn.

While I don't agree with it, I at least respect your reasoning.

Go ahead and pull out your roll ducks roll shirt from 2010. It won’t do any good this year either.

I will always pull for Auburn. But in the long run, it may better for Auburn to lose. Maybe then we can get a coach who will keep us competitive and who has a clue about running a college offense. Or can at least trust his offensive coordinator to do his job.

It’s because I pull for Auburn that I can admit we’re headed in the wrong direction. While many of the Auburn fans on this board were fawning over Gus after the 2017 season, I said the contract extension and raise was a mistake. Turns out I was right. It’s alarmingly clear that Gus is in over his head. An SEC school isn’t a place for on the job training.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Save that big loss for late October in Baton Rouge.

Until then, I'd like to see Gus get some hopes up on the Plains. Let the man enjoy his waffles.
