I really would like an unbiased opinion here from some fans outside of LSU and Florida. Who are you picking out of these two to QB your team?

The one coached by Dan Mullen

Franks passed for 8 more TDs last year with a higher completion % and passer rating.
I’ll take him. He’s the better QB

With who as offensive coordinator?
Would take both with what Florida has. Just like Franks because he is bigger and probably could take more hits

Franks did more with less.
Joe's pretty decent, though.

Is Joe back at practice, or still nursing an injury ?

Joe Burrow.
Franks has more physical talents, no doubt, but when pressured can still get happy feet in the pocket and makes too many mistakes. he made progress last year under Mullen and if he makes similar progress this year, then Florida could have them a pretty good QB.
However, Burrow, while limited physically (maybe just my opinion and not necessarily a fact) he has a great head on his shoulders. he makes good decisions, and the team plays well for him. They respond to him. His intangibles are excellent. He can see plays and knows how to make them. He is a very solid QB and is underrated, imo.

Franks is good but he doesn’t have ice in his veins.
I’ll take my boy Burrow as quick as any QB in the SEC.

Felipe Franks. Only because he is coached by Mullen. If Burrow played for Mullen I would take him.
Joe isn’t as bad as I thought, I watched back the Florida game and on their last drive he put some passes on the money his receivers dropped

I'll take Burrow and the shrimp boat captain any day.

Florida fans will choose Franks but lets look at a couple of things.
When LSU played Florida LSU was using it's 6th different starting lineup on the o line because of injuries. Franks played behind an established uninjured o line vs LSU. This season Franks will play behind a mostly new o line and Burrow will play behind a veteran o line.
Remember how late Burrow arrived at LSU. Franks has been at Florida since his frosh year. Burrow had very little time to workout with the wr's. Franks had been around his wr's for a considerably longer period of time. LSU had one of the worst drop rates in college football.
This season will be a more accurate barometer of who is better. I'll take Joe. Especially with an updated offense.

Geez why so many downvotes? Seems like a harmless comparison question.
I’m rolling with Franks

I'd take Burrow if he's coached by mullen. Franks... I just have never liked that guy

Franks coaches by Mullen >>>>>>> Burrell coaches by 0gre.

I would lean Franks because of Mullen. I really like Burrow, but I don't think he has a big-time arm and puts himself at risk on too many occasions. I've seen him make some great throws but was below average on the quicker inside routes.

I like Franks and think he has gotten better every year at Florida, but tbh I didn’t realize this was even a question. I’ve seen Franks ranked anywhere from 5th to 8th best QB in the SEC, whereas Burrow is always either 3rd or 4th (I saw one where he was second but I’m not delusional so we won’t count that)
If I’m being 100% honest as much as I respect Franks’ growth, I think if he was on any team not coached by Dan Mullen he would be either a backup QB or just not a great starter. Since you said I can pick either with any coaching combo I wanted I would go with Burrow. I also think he is probably the more coachable player, although like I said I respect Franks’ growth.
I know Florida fans will point to the UF/LSU game. But anyone who does that is being a bit disingenuous to themselves. I’ve already seen one say Burrow is a sack waiting to happen, and with our 2018 o-line he was. First off more people played in that UF/LSU game than 2 QBs. Second off, LSU’s offensive line had maybe their worst game of the entire year (it is between that game and the Bama game) against Florida.
I would take Burrow in a heartbeat. I also think he is a better leader and despite the size difference, I think he is tougher.

I give a slight edge to Franks. Burrow’s QB rating was 12th of 14 starters in the SEC ahead of only Storey and Fitzgerald. Franks had 8 more passing TDs and their rushing stats are practically the same.
