I can't really argue with the list but they should have split it into 2 eras- the first 75 years and then the last 75 years. No Jim Thorpe or Doc Blanchard. A lot of the old two way players got shafted.

got the wrong Woodson on the 2nd team

The list has some major holes. Frazier at QB, Moss at WR from Marshall.

I realize you cut and pasted, but Nebraska only has four players on the first team.

But tua?
Sure he is accurate too, but he wasn't listed in the options I was replying. These guys were.

I may have taken Mike Vick, Peyton Manning, Elway, or Vince Young over Tebow on the second team,
I chose Peyton to throw to Moss and Carter because I believe he is more accurate than the others on the list. Tua would be right up there with Peyton and Elway on accuracy in college, and above Vick, Young, and Tebow on accuracy.

Peyton was on a different level from a throwing standpoint.

Peyton Manning's best year in college 63.9%(1996), Tua 69 percent (2018)

Talent around them and competition. We saw what happens to Tua when he gets pressured.

Tua is a more accurate qb than Peyton was in college.

PP7 has an argument for 2nd team but it's whatever.

I believe that one Neb. player, Johnny Rodgers, was picked for two separate positions - the PR & AP on the 1st team.

Nebraska occupies five of the 27 first-team spots with Heisman winner Johnny Rodgers getting the nod at both punt returner and as an all-purpose player.
So, Neb. players picked for QB, C, DL, PR, & AP. Four players for 5 positions.

Honestly, by the numbers Tua is a better college QB than Peyton, but I didn't consider him because he's still playing. There's also the issues of Tua's durability and decision making under pressure.
However, if you put Mike Vick and a good O-Line with Bo/Hershel and Randy Moss you have the most unstoppable offense in the history of College Football. It doesn't matter who the other skill players are.

Yes, I followed your list and chose Peyton, but then it occurred to me that I was thinking of NFL Peyton. But honestly if I could choose any college qb my first choice would be Cam Newton followed by Vince Young. These two impressed me the most in college.

Until he gets some pressure. Great 7 on 7 QB.
