I can't believe I am saying this, but for some reason I hope Fields doesn't succeed this year. I feel the opposite way with Eason. I think it's mostly my hatred of The Ohio State. The kid from Kentucky played high school ball in Dublin, just outside Columbus. If Fields comes out scared like he looked in some of his games with us, the boo birds will be out in force for the back up. There is a lot of pressure on Fields.

I hope Eason balls out and goes undefeated. He handled the demotion like a man and waited his turn.

Kid looks and sounds like he's ready to lead that team. Solid head on his shoulders it seems - much more mature than last year. I think he'll have a pretty good season.

All of the hate for the kid makes us all look bad. I for one wish him well.

I don't think you could call it a demotion when the whole turn of events hinged on a freak injury. By the time he was 100%, Fromm had total control of the team.
