SEC East Team Schedule talk

South Carolina just might have the most difficult schedule I can remember in the last 10 years. UNC, Bama, @ Mizz, UK, @ UGA, UF, @ Tennessee, @ A&M, and Clemson is just brutal.
One thing about UF's schedule is that UF gets tested early and often before playing UGA. Miami is a P5 non-conference opponent, and a rivalry game. Games at Kentucky, LSU, and South Carolina will also be tough.
Not to mention Auburn and a much improved Tennessee team in Gainesville.
UGA plays 1 top 25 team (Notre Dame - in Athens) prior to playing UF.
I think its fair to say UF will be battle tested prior to playing UGA, moreso than UGA will be.
Missouri's schedule, in constrast to the Gamecocks, might be the easiest I've seen in the last 10 years, and they get UF in COMO in November
UK's schedule is also fairly easy, and their path to an East title becomes VERY clear if they can beat UF again this year. Basically, the UK-UGA game in Athens becomes the defacto East Title Game if UK beats UF.

South Carolina plays Clemson, Alabama, UGA, ATM, and UF. LMAO they are screwed.
The East is a 2 horse race, Florida and Georgia. IDC how easy Missouri’s schedule is, Kelly Bryant is overrated as frick.
We shippin’.

Bryant is overrated, but Mizzou has an underrated defense and they physically destroyed us up front last year in Gainesville.

Georgia killed the team's mentality before the game even started. Not just Franks, but you could also see that the receivers and rest of the team just weren't very interested. We were pretty banged up.
I think this team's mentality will be far more different than last year's, though, and I don't think Bryant is going to be the same as Drew Lock who was basically an NFL QB playing in college.

I disagree. UF mentally was in the game until the drive that UGA made in the 4th Q when Fromm made 3 straight 3rd and long conversions picking on McWilliams.

I disagree with most of this. We came ready to play against them. We played hard. Henderson’s injury early hurt depth at DB. That was the key to their success, and ultimately what they picked on the most.
I’d say that our problems in order were poor execution (Franks missing the flea flicker that would’ve made it 7-3 us, instead throws a pick and its 10-0 them), boneheaded turnovers (Franks duck to their DB, Scarlett’s fumble on a long run, Franks somehow fumbling on the goal line), and lastly the injury to Henderson. Those combined to make what was a close game turn lopsided late. I wouldn’t say we were disinterested at all. The goal line stand and having a second half lead didn’t happen by accident. We just needed to execute better, not turn it over, and stay healthy.

He was saying Georgia beat us twice in regards to the Missouri. The east was on the line when we played Georgia and once we lost, we didn’t care how the Missouri game played out so they played like crap.

Atl and Box didn't read Straws post carefully.

Exactly. No one cared after the Georgia game and it took a huge comeback in the SCAR game. We had just beaten MSST on the road and LSU at home only to come up short against UGA when we were in the game the entire time outside of the last ten minutes.
Considering we were in a transition year with three starting DBs out of the game I'd say we did exceptionally well, but you could easily see that we just had no life in us for the Missouri game -- offense or defense.
