It just came across originally as insecurity considering he wasn’t a 5* at the time. I think some of us thought he’d be a 5* when Rivals woke up. It’s just really weird to say your QB is a 5* when there wasn’t a single rating system that had him as one yet.

He was and is a 5 star
It’s that simple
ESPN had him as the number 1 passing qb
AND
ESPN has him as number 1 dual threat
Seems rather 5 starish to me
