Wrong. Just completely wrong, even though it is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Nola is a world renowned city, st Louis isnt, and there's a good reason for that. People will travel to nola from all around the world, st Louis? Nah. New Orleans is one of the most unique cities in the world, much less the United states. No other city compares to it. It's an awesome city, which is why it's such a huge main event attraction and big events are held there all the time. People want to come to nola, plain and simple.

USC since joining the SEC beginning in 1992: .269

USC beginning in 2000: .320

USC beginning in 2010: .471

We're getting better. Got to get a win against Auburn or LSU sometime - we're a combined 1-14-1 against them since joining the SEC. Otherwise we're .303 since 1992, and .381 since 2000 against the other 4. We're 10-15 against Alabama and UGA since 2000...

You got that right, but likely not in the ways you’d want to believe.

I'd like to see those numbers just based on games since A&M and Missouri joined the conference.

Actually I'd like to see them on a since-1992 basis, even though A&M/Missouri weren't in the conference for most of that time.

Freaking Auburn. I know what Alabama is and what they have achieved. But I don't have the gut-wrenching fear of "How will we lose this one" playing Alabama that I do Auburn.

That's from a South Carolina perspective of course. Auburn has a Hoodoo on us. Still like to have them in the East because that would be a great, practical road trip.

Not surprising. Arkansas has had three really bad stretches of playing football in its history and two of them have come in the SEC. The first after Broyles drove Hatfield away and the second we are currently stuck in.

Guys it's a Big 5.

Its silly to continue to act like it isn't. The Group of 5 is head and shoulders over the next 8 in every category.

Can someone please explain how 5 of the 6 teams can have a below .500 record against each other? Mathematically, if half win, half lose, so how can 5 of the 6 have losing records against each other?

I know you enjoy the cheap shot. Take it all you want. It is statistically insignificant. We are the lowest of the Big Six. But we are still Big Six.

Because Alabama, to a large degree, has laid the lumber on y'all. I think that combined with Not Big But Not Little 5 tending to split the games against one another bumps everyone down a bit.

That or the guy who came up with this was drinking heavily. They are both equally likely answers.

It is tempting, because he is a worthless toerag. But you cannot convince this goober that the Sun comes up in the morning and sets at night. Best to treat him as flatulence. Brief, unpleasant, and not something you want to be around very long.

For starters, Alabama has a significant lead in the series against the rest. And secondly, there have not been an even number of matchups between the teams over the years.

Big Six.

Doesn't exist or mean anything. Never heard it outside this forum and honestly - it's one of the weirdest things I've heard someone claim.

There are only 14 teams in the entire SEC and I'm guessing 2 of them are basically exempt for being in the conference less than 5 years(otherwise Missouri has won the East multiple times amazingly). 2 others are Kentucky and Vandy, who generally don't take football seriously at all.

That leaves 10 teams who are actually qualified/trying and the 6th place team isn't in the top50% of them.

So I really do not understand what accomplishment "Big Six" actually is. Teams left: The 1992 expansions, Arkansas and South Carolina. And the 2 Mississppi schools, Ole Miss and Miss St.

Yay????

And/or eliminate both teams from the list. Their numbers are worthless in this comparison.
