Obviously they had adjusted well to what we do because they had probably 2 months to analyze it. Fact. They had a solid plan and give them credit, they executed it.
What we did not do is make them pay for it. The run was there. In the red zone Josh Jacobs in the Wildcat was there. But again when the plays had to be made, Clemson made them. Give them credit again. Our best chance was to pound the rock and keep them off the field, then hit them with RPO 's and play action when their safeties had to come down.
They tried it once and got torched, then stayed back and gave us the run. We should have taken it.
We likely just weren't good enough in the secondary, but shortening the game the way it was going might have given us some chance. Maybe in this game when Tua struggled some early we could have gone to Hurts.

LSU fans group watching the national title game in late June just so they can feel what it’s like to beat Bama is my favorite thing of this off season so far.

I didn’t really pay attention to the game the first time around. So this is eye opening. First Tiny Nick was telegraphing his fear And then Tua, sensing Tiny Nick’s fear, and the fear that his Daddy would beat him again, threw the quick pick six. And the route was on.

Hey Will . Bad break here. Thunderstorms rolled in and my Directv is sketchy as hell. So looks like I’m STILL not going to be able to watch this game from start to finish.
