The CWS press conference with all 4 head coaches in our bracket at the table taking questions. Amazing the close ties between all 4 coaches in one way or another.

Really cool hearing Butch the state players he recruited here. And Lemonis was the head recruiter under Louisville’s coach

I assume the Jim Ellis that Butch Thompson pointed out in the back of the room was our announcer. Class act. Ellis has been calling our games for decades. I know he will retire soon and that’s gonna be a day I am not looking forward to.

It feels good to see MSU posts get down voted so fast. There are some butthurt people out there with pure envy that their team came up short. And then there are my two favorite clowns who downvote anything. Glad to know it upsets them so much. Makes this even more fun.

Amazing how many of Butch Thompson's current players at Auburn and former players at State gush about what a great person he is and how much they love him. That's something you rarely hear about John Cohen and his former players. But people bitch at me when I call out Cohen for being a Prick. It's no secret to folks in the know.

Yet former Cohen players show up to meet him and thank him for being their coach. Where do you guys hear this garbage? I can only guess which website message board that is supposed to be run by pro msu fan but sounds more like NoNotMe etc because they got kicked off other boards.
The same crowd that rips everything Msu? That board? Vic is a horrible coach. Cohen was lucky to play for a natty. Mullen sucks and time for a change etc etc. You guys kill me. Well, you got your wish, Mullen is gone so until recently Chris Lemonis was a piss poor hire.

You can be an a-hole and still be loved. I love my old coach but he's an arse hole through and through haha.
I don't get why it bothers people. Cohen has a backbone that a lot of former MSU ADs don't have. And that's what we need.
I agree he's not the best AD in the world or anything, but I've seen first hand he's doing what's right for MSU and he'll make sure we don't get the short end.

And isn’t that what we needed? I posted before that Cohen redoing Vic’s contract and paying him more is something previous AD’s would never do. Especially Templeton.

Bud I've never criticized Vic. As far as Cohen goes I only criticized him after 2015, no coach at MSU should EVER finish last in the SEC. And you should seem that unacceptable. As far as Mullen goes his 2015-16 off-season rubbed me the wrong way and I believe those results showed up through the beginning of 2016(and it almost cost us a bowl). I'm a lot more confident with Moorhead with his off-season because he's been working I can tell so we'll see if these transfers/recruits work out. Lemonis was a wait and see guy for me. A no name Indiana coach seemed like it might not go well. But it looks like he might end up the best coach this school has ever seen and he's obviously a great recruiter. Look at his Indiana MLB Draft talent.

Uh yeah? I think you're reading into this a little too much. Nonotme is acting like it's a bad thing Cohen is an a-hole. I'm saying it's a good thing. I don't have a problem with Cohen.

You seem to forget that 2015 season and what all happened. But hey, he won the outright SEC championship the following year. And before that played for a national championship.
My point being, we have fans who pick and choose only the bad stuff.

He did. First SEC Title since 1989. Really fun moment. Super Regional sucked but that Regular season was as good as it gets.

I choose all stuff and the reality of the situation. A lot of fans HATE when you bring up ANNYTHING negative. But I can't spin everything positive.
I'm one of the only ones that will defend Men's Basketball on any board if you want to know where I am. It disgusts me how our first NCAA Tournament Team in 10 years had ZERO support. It's absolutely pathetic.

My god stop being so stupid. Cohen has 45 million dollars per year that wasn't here a few years ago. Since Cohen became AD, that's over 100 million extra dollars to spend. Get a damn clue pal.
