I don’t know what to do with my emotions on this. A sports announcer shouldn’t cause this much pain, but it is so personal. I took for granted that he would always be on through the good and the bad. It is as though our soul has been pulled out. I know that is dramatic but it feels that way.

I'm very sad hearing this. I can't bring myself to listen to his great calls yet. Maybe one day, but I don't feel like crying today. I can't imagine what their family and friends are feeling. Having a young son this hits me hard. How old were their children?
