Being airlifted usually requires some level of stability right? Obviously serious but that's somewhat positive right?

I heard he coded twice before being airlifted.

I honestly have no clue. It’s scary as hell that he needs a level 1 trauma center though.

By chopper, yes. UAB could have sent a jet with a team of doctors, someone I know had this done a little over a year ago.
