I've never understood why'd you give a raise/extension to a mediocre coach no one is going after. Lsu did the same thing.

Who the hell is coming after O & Moorhead?

Yea, though I guess if the buyout doesn't change then it's really just PR and Goodwill anyway.

A&M didn't extend Jimbo's contract so they must not have faith in him. And no one is going after Jimbo. Not looking good for A&M football.

MS law will not allow us to sign a coach for more than a 4 year contract. This gets used a lot against our schools when trying to get new coaches. So the schools try to get around this by basically extending and giving a raise every year as long as you aren't fricking up.

You right. Just like I never understood A&M giving Jimbo 75 million guaranteed when he litterly ran the FSU program in the toilet!
