Just read a story on moneywise.com. about 20 cities where people are fleeing from. Baton Rouge was listed along with NY, San Fran, Houston, Chicago, D.C., L.A., Orlando, Denver, Milwaukee and a few others. I knew it was bad in the Sticks, but this is embarrassing. Baw.
Every recruiting coordinator in America should keep a copy of that and show to recruits.

I’m sure the kids playing football care about their career in Baton Rouge post-grad.

Sounds like Baton Rouge is sitting up with some of the best cities in America. Thanks for the heads up, every great American city is going to face exodus, just come with being a pillar of American society.

.....and not one of the people fleeing these cities moved to Starkville.

Say what you will...but nobody is fleeing to Starkville.

I’ll be the first to say that Baton Rouge isn’t that great of a city but you’re really going to sit here and talk shite about Baton Rouge/LSU when your team is located in Starkville?

Yeah. Everyone is moving to St. George

not sure where this info is coming from. b.r. has been continuing to grow at a steady pace. honestly, the growth needs to slow down for a while.
there are public meetings about expanding i10 through the city because it is currently designed to handle 70k cars per day but the volume is currently at 100k. that's just one road in one area of the city. the population growth has been fast enough to exceed the infrastructure growth

It's been this way since Katrina forced all the hood rats out of New Orleans.

I’ll be the first to say that Baton Rouge isn’t that great of a city
