Bert was terrible at losing leads. So bad that I often felt that we had a better chance if we were down a little at halftime.

Agree. And Im not sure what the problem was honestly.

Looking back, we had a couple of pretty decent teams and one really good team that should have won 10 games. But we lost SO many close games. It was heartbreaking. Honestly the only close game I can think of that we have won in the past few years was the first TCU game.

I was also thinking the other day, how nice it was when we blew out a ranked Ole Miss team and also a ranked LSU team in Baton Rouge.

I don't miss Bert's incompetence but I do miss some of the winning he had, however few that may have been

You miss the winning we had with bert? We shitcanned him after he went 3-9 with one of those being a nail biter against coastal fricking Carolina you twat. The only reason Bert ever won was because of the Allen brothers and drew morgan(who had to have a ton of injuries to see the field or would’ve waisted away)who were coming to Arkansas regardless with one already being on the hill and the players he inherited from Bobby P. If it wasn’t for philon and flowers imagine how shitty that 2nd year would’ve been too

Eta: beer needed 10 win talent to win the games in the sec. he took 5 6 7 win talent teams and won 3 or 4 games

We should have won ten games in both 2014 and 2015, IMO. Bert could have gotten owned the way he did and would still be here if he won more of those close wtf games. We also won a close one with Ole Miss the same year as TCU, I think.
