Not a missed stat when it doesn't tell the whole story. We pass to set up the run, Ryan had a 67%completion rate and Dak had around 47%. Ryan stays in the pocket and gets the ball out fast where as Dak still doesnt have the patience and takes off running.

That's pretty accurate. But the thing is that running to set up the pass works pretty well too.
Better to some people, and I'm one. I guess we could debate this, but the spread is versatile enough to allow you to run it both ways.
