We’ve gotten some good looks and have only been able to hit one. We are lost defensively on all of their screens.

Gotta prevent their offensive rebounds. That’s the only way Jerome and Guy are getting clean looks. Love the resiliency.

You really can’t. You’ll get the occasional fast break score on a long rebound but that’s is. They are not going to speed up on offense and when they miss a shot everyone bails.

UVA does an excellent job getting back on defense. Impressive that we went 3-15 from 3 and are up 3 at half

If we can get off to a hot start in the second half and extend this lead then we can potentially get them out of their comfort zone. They’re still going to run their offense but hopefully we can put a little bit of urgency in it.

Agree. If 3s start falling might be good stuff, but even without shots falling to be up at half is encouraging.

Harper played pretty well in the last 5 min. He definitely looks sick. Just need to play him in short spurts

The drive and kick is there, we’ve just struggled actually getting to the paint first. Also they don’t appear to be leaving Bryce alone which means drives to his side could be effective and drives to the other side won’t have as much backside help.

He keeps pulling the ball out which plays right into their game, McCormick was gashing them and locking down on defense.

Harpers outside shot has been off for 2 games now.
