TN wouldn't have been down by 18 if they met their free throw average percentage.

They didn’t hit their FTs, which is part of why they were down 18. They should point a finger at the mirror instead of the refs. They lost the game because they didn’t play smart basketball. If you don’t want a shooter to shoot three FTs with seconds left, don’t foul him while he’s shooting a three. It’s amazing what happens when you don’t play like a bunch of morons

I hate that we lost but this was always more of a Cinderella team than they were ever given credit for being. A group of 3*s going to the Sweet Sixteen is one helluva an accomplishment.
The hardest part isn't the loss but letting these guys go. This was my favorite Tennessee basketball team period.

The replay his body did make contact with the shooter but it looked like it was after the shot and it was soft. Is it a foul, technically yes. Is that a foul that deserves to be called? Not in my opinion

Yes it was a foul. However, there were many other fouls called on both sides that were not. It is what it is.

It was, beyond the shadow of a doubt, absolutely, positively, 1000% a foul, and one that cost Tennessee an Elite Eight berth because dude probably wasn’t gonna hit it

It was a foul. He got his body after he shot it. Never lean into a shooter like that.

This post makes sense and I agree. TN sleep walked through the first half. They turned it on in the 2nd but that was too late.
Great season for them anyway.

Same. I was 44-5 going into that one counting Gonzaga tonight, but I had Tenn in the Final 4..only one loss but it's one I couldn't afford lol. Hate it for y'all Ut, can't believe that foul was called
