I hate that LSU / MSU baseball series starts tomorrow on a damn thursday.

I still think it will be a big crowd for first game but it’s almost sacreligeous to have this sacred series start on a thursday.
Any of you LSU fans at least coming friday - saturday? Oh, and I noticed there is a 50% chance for rain on Saturday. I hope there aren’t game change times. This has always been my favorite series.

Pitching was struggling early but pitching has been fine, actually really good, the past few weeks. Hitting has been dreadful lately

I heard the same thing that your pitching has gotten better. Hitting is a funny thing, I remember all too well when MSU bats were dead for half the season then exploded later.

Hitting is the key. No matter how good your pitching is, you have to hit to score. Hopefully we can kick those bears arse this weekend.

It seems they’ve all been mentally checked out at the plate, almost like they’re just going through the motions. Last nights and last weekends games outside the 8-9 innings on Sunday were just embarrassing efforts. People say hitting is contagious, well so is not hitting. We’re hitting under .240 in SEC play yet are second I believe in team ERA. The switch needs to go off fir these guys because there is FAR too much talent in the lineup to be playing like they have. Even Duplantis who hadn’t been in a slump in 3 years has been on the struggle bus big time lately

well first off LSU has ALOT of talent. Most I have seen in a while. But they have definitely under performed so far this year. At first it started off with, we couldn't hit, pitch, or field. Now the pitching and fielding has come around but the hitting has been terrible all year. a few other things. a ton of pitchers are hurt and we cant throw anybody out on base. I will be surprised if we get one. State is catching LSU at a good time right now. I wouldnt want to play us later on though.

LSU had a players only meeting before they traveled to Starkville. Their bus broke down one I-55.

Wow, never seen an LSU team hitting that low. You know the talent is there. That blows my mind actually. Sometimes just need something good to happen and the confidence comes back. You’ll for sure have a chance at that in game 3 because we can’t find a sunday starter.

At least the thursday (and friday) games will be on tv and not your phone or roku

Actually, I’m not happy with the radio networks. We used to be all over the state. I barely pick mine up now. Have to move a damn antenna around if I don’t listen online.

Use hailstate plus if you want to continue listening to him! Thats what i have used for games not on secn+. Thursday game is on espnU and friday is secn.
