Absolutely well earned. What he's done with this roster is amazing.

Barnes is very deserving of the award. He is a good coach. He is certainly no Shaka Kahn or whatever that guy's name is.

How do you fire Rick Barnes?

I wish Deloss Dodds was still at texas. He was the gift that keeps on giving. However Deloss Dodds junior said "hold my beer" when he hired Coach Kissyface to ruin the football team.

Well deserved and congrats to him and the UT fans! I knew when UT picked him up that they would be a force in the SEC. Texas fans were idiots to want him gone. Look how great their new coach has them.

Barnes is the first SEC coach to win National Coach of the Year since Kentucky's Tubby Smith won it for the 2002-2003 season.
