ATPB was aided by having essentially zero concrete evidence. Just a couple guys making claims, the NCAA taking no action, and as a result - months and months of speculation and conspiracy theories.
In this case, we have LSU's head coach on tape directly discussing compensation in exchange for recruits straight out the gate, which really doesn't lend itself to much discussion.
