Was asked by the NCAA and denied two recruits were there, and video evidence showed they were there. Boom. Two year show cause. fricked himself and UT.

If Will Wade comes clean he spares LSU serious sanctions perhaps. Reforms himself (haha) and learns to cheat like a professional instead of a girly hayseed. WTF was he thinking having those conversations?

That’s not true. The NCAA fricks you if you tell the truth or if you lie.

The Shaggy defense is always to be employed. “It wasn’t me.”

IHAHAHAHAHAHA!

If you don't thinh Wade, on the phone, making a "strong offer" is evidence in the eyes of the NCAA then call up Hugh Freeze. I hold no ill will for LSU but Will Wade has no business in Big 5 conference college basketball. LSU deserves better than those antics. Put a condom on, Will Wade!

Unfortunately, the NCAA has never needed evidence.

I’m not saying LSU gets hammered nor do I care it’s just basketball not football but they do seem Hammer who they want to. LSU is not a blue blood CB program. It seems most of the time it’s more like prove your innocence rather than innocent until proven guilty. But that’s the ncaa.

Speaking of Bruce Pearl, what are the odds Auburn can do us a favor this weekend? I mean, I previously felt like Vandy had no chance but now I’m giving them at least a two percent shot.

Look, you are essentially a one school state, so you don't have the scrutiny. You can be loose, unless the FBI wiretaps catches you up in a larger scheme which is exactly what happened. Then your hayseed basketball coach gives up the game with his stupidity.

AU never gets caught cheating in anything because we learn from the masters, who happen to be in our state. They are champions that we aspire to be, and we respect each other's boundaries.

Will Wade is a Boston born fricknut that just fricked your whole athlectic department. I bet Yaw Yaw wants to kill the guy right now. Given his conversations Wade was probably paying someone illegally to tie his shoelaces.

I think it's winnable for us. I've thought that for a while.

It'll be a good game. Auburn will pumped up and ready to play. Senior night Pearl's first class at AU. Bryce Brown and Horace Spencer. Hopefully Bryce will shoot lights out for his last home game, if I does then I give us the upper hand. Horace Spencer always gives 100% and I have no doubt he'll come ready and play light out on defense, which is exactly what we'll need to counter Williams and Schoefield.

I'll call it a 50/50 tossup

I'll only say if AU plays their best game it will be a nail biter. Length and physicality give us major problems. UT is not as long and and athletic as UK but they are physical. I don't think we match up well defensively with UT, just like UK.

Possibly.

No idea. Was Sean Miller TWICE recorded offering inducements on FBI wiretaps? Arizona has also been in the protected class since Lute Olsen in the 80's. Perhaps there is also truth to the rumor that Wade is not liked by his peers? Again, I have no idea. Or maybe its because if you kill Arizona basketball you kill their entire athletic department. Not the case with LSU. I'm just speculating... maybe its just an easier story in terms of evidence for the a-hole Yahoo reporters?

(edit) Let me say this. You don't realize it now but Will Wade doesn't deserve a place like LSU for his stupid shenanigans. There was a coach at UA (Hobbs?) that did some stupidly similar actions and he was dismissed.

I was listening a few years ago to Wimp Sanderson and Sonny Smith trade stories. They were AU and UA basketball coaches and competed against one another. Wimp said he never really recruited at Alabama. He just made it known that he needed certain players and they would mostly sign and show up for fall practice. Some of that is hyperbole and exageration, but I imagine that's generally how it works if you have any semblance of a basketball culture. LSU has that, so he could have taken the time to build it slower.

If Miller engaged in inducements, and Wade certainly engaged in first hand inducement discussions then they are too stupid to be employed in their profession. They both should teach Drivers Ed and coach high school ball.

Will be a fun game I think. Senior day is definitely a different atmosphere plus a UT team with a lot to play for. I do think Brown and Harper need to shoot better than their average percentage from the arc this season. UT may be a little beat up from a tough stretch of games. Probably the best SEC matchup of the day.
