• This will be the 159th meeting between Arkansas and Texas A&M. The Razorbacks own a 103-55 advantage in the series, including a 57-14 advantage in games played in Fayetteville.

• With a 73-71 won at College Station to start SEC play this season, Arkansas is 7-4 versus the Aggies since A&M joined the SEC for the 2012-13 season.

• Earlier this season, Jalen Harris scored 15 points with nine assists and zero turnovers while Desi Sills scored a career-high 14, including 13 in the first half. Daniel Gafford had a double-double (11 and 11). However, the turning point in the game was, after Arkansas missed its first 14 3-pointers, Mason Jones and Isaiah Joe hit four straight to lift Arkansas to the win.

• Texas A&M is one of two teams on this year’s schedule that Arkansas played in its inaugural season in 1923-24. Texas is the other. It is no coincidence that both Texas A&M and Texas rank 1-2 as the most common opponents in Razorback history.

• The Aggies won each of the first two meetings in that 1923-24 season back-to-back games in College Station, 35-27 and 32-17.

• With Texas A&M joining the SEC, the Aggies are the Razorbacks’ most common opponent with 158 games played in the series.

• Isaiah Joe hit four 3-pointers to remain the SEC leader in 3’s made with 91 while moving to seventh on the school’s single-season list.

• Isaiah Joe took two charges and leads the team with 22 taken this season. He also had a steal and leads the team in that category with 39.

• For the eighth time this season, Arkansas forced 20-plus turnovers in a game, forcing 21 at Auburn. The Razorbacks have forced 432 turnovers this season second-most in the SEC.

• The Razorbacks are one of two teams in the league to finish .500 or better in SEC play each of the last six years.

• The answer Isaiah Joe is going into the record books. He has already set one school record, is on pace for a second school record,is threatening an SEC record and could have one of the top freshman seasons in NCAA history.

vRECORD WATCH 1: Joe set the Arkansas freshman record for 3-pointers made in a season at Missouri. He has made 91 3-pointers, breaking the previous mark of 83 by Rotnei Clarke in 2009.

• RECORD WATCH 2: With 6 guaranteed games left (5 regular season and 1 SEC tourney),Joe is currently on pace to finish with 112 3-pointers made this season. He currently ranks seventh on the school’s single-season Pat Bradley is next on the list. He made 93 in both the 1998 and 1999 seasons. The Arkansas record for 3’s made in a season is 102 by Scotty Thurman in 1994-95.

• RECORD WATCH 3:At Joe’s current on pace of finishing with 112 3-pointers made, he would threaten the SEC freshman leader for 3-pointers made. The current record is 113 by Kentucky’ Jamal Murray (2015-16).

• RECORD WATCH 4: If Joe finishes with 112 3-pointers made, he would rank sixth all-time among NCAA freshman. Current freshman Antoine Davis of Detroit Mercy leads the NCAA in 3-point shooting and is just four treys away from Stephen Curry’s freshman record of 122.
