1. Is it real?
2. If it is real do you think humans are causing it and/or exacerbating it?
3. What, if anything, can/should we do about it?

1. Sure. And it’s cyclical. And we only have reliable data that covers about 75 years when the earth is between 6,000 and 4.5 billion years old.
2. No and no.
3. We probably can’t do anything about it. To think we can is ultimate hubris.

1. Yeah, that's why theres ice ages, and why some places in the US used to be swamps or covered by glaciers are now temperate land.
2. Don't think so. If we do I doubt its accelerating the process that much
3. Slaughter the cows because of their farts

Kill the cows. Start in India. Good luck.

What about all of the fossil fuel pollution and two centuries of industrialization? Surely that’s increased the rate of warming. There is a lot we could do to go green and limit it.

You really don’t think society is willing? What about the Paris Agreement and Green New Deal? There seems to be broad international support for change.

That actually reminds me. I was watching a video on live leaks a while back and it was this indian dude who drags some supposed Islamic terrorist off the road to the edge of some woods and kills him with an axe. Any way after he kills him the camera pans toward the road and theres just a cow walking down the road.
Great example of Indian society

The BBC WS did a report awhile ago about militias in India that kill people, mostly Muslims because it’s India, who mistreat/eat cows. They take that shite super seriously in some parts of the country.

(Hopefully my popcorn isn’t emitting anything dangerous to the board)

Wouldn't surprise me if that's what it was. There wasn't much explanation for the video.

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Nuclear power is the only answer. Solar and wind are not reliable enough for baseload and there's not enough lithium on the planet for grid storage.

I am no scientist or meteorologist nor have I done any research on the matter so I’m not sure what to think and tbh I’d probably still be skeptical after doing research because i know damn good and well there’s contradictory info on the subject. Beside that, people on both sides of the issue squeal too much for my taste- like most things that become political.
Also, I am a spoiled bitch by nature but I do recycle what I can since I have a recycle bin easily at my fingertips. So, if we need to make changes they better be simple, easy, doable and not make me feel like I’m living in the 1700’s.
As far as the bit of the new green deal I saw- even ignoring the cow fart - or rather that and the urine thing was made up- it was still laughable and may as well have been written in crayon.

Nothing. It's cyclical and has been since the beginning of time. Cutting back on emissions and such are a good thing and should be done, but the effect is minimal.
