All 12 fans went wild.

It really does boggle my mind that a baseball team that is so successful for the past ~10 years has such a pathetic following.
And on top of that, some of the best talent in the nation want to go play there, instead of in stadiums where 10,000 fans want to watch you play.

Kudos to O'Sullivan and his staff for reeling those guys in, but every year I think the same thing.

Hopefully this new stadium changes the perspective in Gainesville...that baseball team has earned it

It's almost like college baseball isn't a major sport...

Floridians don’t care about baseball. Look at their MLB franchises

I agree. The fan support they've received for their success recently is horrid.

I can understand a Mississippi State fan ragging on Florida not supporting the baseball team, but LSU fans can eat a big ole dick because you fricks didn't go to baseball games before Bertman built you into a powerhouse and put you in some upgraded digs. You averaged 917 per game in Bertman's first season in 1984 and when you won your second CWS in 1993 you averaged 3,521 fans per game.

I have to guess the stadium is a big part of it. We get good crowds in every other sport, just not baseball. We will never draw huge crowds, but I expect us to be top 10.
