Yes, those numbers are correct. Just as its also correct to say that Bama has won just 2 of the previous 6. You can spin it one way just as I can spin the other.
But one thing that is not a spin is the fact that Bama was winning titles at a much faster rate at the beginning of that 10-year period relative to the rate it is winning them at the latter end of this period.
If Clemson wins the Title in 2019, there is no denying that Clemson will have overtaken Bama as the nation's premiere program. They too have now won 2 of the last 4 to pull equal to Bama. If they make it 3 of the last 4, its safe to say they are the new Top Dog.
Time will tell.

Alabama has won every other year since 2014 but to think it will continue indefinitely is goofy. You say UA is winning less now than before, but it's that middle span that Alabama won less often. Spinning it the way you do, Alabama won only once in the 4 year span of 2013-2016 seasons, prompting these guys to say the same thing then that you're projecting to the future. Not sure which is more ludicrous. Those guys saying it was over then because Alabama hadn't won in a couple of years, or you saying it may be over next year if (you hope) UA doesn't win then... dynasty over according to Cowherd and Klatt

Eh, I wouldn't be concerned if they did. I mean, did all the other schools stop having fans when Alabama won 3 out of 4 from 2009-2012? Or give up on football when they won 2 out of 3 in 2015-2017?
Clemson has an easier path, much like Florida State did in the 90s. They have what amounts to a 1 or 2 game season, and don't have to constantly play against 4* and 5* athletes, game in and game out.
So basically they're as talented as Alabama, but play in a conference where there's practically no wear and tear. No high speed athletes running and gunning for your best players and vice versa. The SEC is a meat grinder; the ACC is a day in the Florida Keys.
I mean, they added Texas A&M to beef up their schedule and is, by far, the toughest team on their schedule.
Where does A&M rank on Alabama's schedule in terms of talent and difficulty? Second? Third? Fourth? Are going to include a likely matchup vs Georgia in the SECCG? Who will Clemson play, another team that barely finishes above .500?
It's fine, because running through the SEC can mean a tougher team OR it can mean a more beat up team. That's the trade-off. Sometimes it works in your favor (see 2017) and sometimes against (2018).
So long as Clemson gets AA level QBs that rarely ever see the dirt because they're facing 2* and 3* LBers and DL, they'll have an easy road to the playoffs.
Heck, once they knew they had Notre Dame as their opener they practically admitted that they were spending most of the time before the playoffs prepping for Alabama. Notre Dame might have been the weakest undefeated regular season team since... well, Notre Dame (2012). Just like in 2012, where everyone who paid attention knew Alabama was going throttle ND, everyone knew Clemson was going to as well.
It is what it is. It is neither "fair" or "unfair", it just IS. So we watch the games, enjoy the victories, hate the losses, and go from there.
