Bo Mattingly

Zimmerman: This is an improving basketball team. It’s been because of the defense. They’ve been getting better at running the offensive sets. And they’re getting better at executing the set plays Coach Anderson is calling.

Honestly, I don't disagree completely, but they definitely should have taken care of business in the easier part of the schedule

That's nice. Arkansas currently 11-8 and has lost 5 of the last 6 games...but they're definitely improving.

Young team playing a tough stretch of the schedule, shouldn't be surprising. They did almost beat Tech on the road so if you don't think they're improving then you just don't watch the games.

Don't tell me that you're gonna defend this by using the "we are losing by less points than we used to" argument...

Edit - I have seen "improvement". College athletics is not about "improvement". It is about winning. Mike's job is not to improve. His job is to bend the average SEC programs over and spank them. If this is an acceptable season at Arkansas in basketball, then all of Bert's tenure as the football coach was a homerun. He was "this close" in so many games while playing the most difficult schedule in the country.

Mike's schedule isnt even difficult. Other schools look at our non-conference schedule and laugh.

This stretch has been tough, no one brought up the non-conference schedule. Four ranked teams out of the past five games, three of them on the road.

Again...It's about scoring more points. Arkansas has a problem at the moment of having less points than the other team when the game is over. This is a problem that I hope will be fixed very soon.
