Greatest play in Bama football history: 2nd and 26
Greatest non-play: Teague's strip of Thomas (it was a momentum killer, but it was called back for an offsides penalty)
Runners-up:
Goal line stand in '79 Sugar Bowl
Drake's Kickoff Return
Griffith's Onside Kick
Screen pass to Yeldon in Death Valley
AJ to Coop in the 2012 SECCG
Hurts game-winning dash to the endzone in the 2018 SECCG
Rocky Block
The Kick
The Kick II
The Run in the Mud
Wrong Way Bo
I would contend that the play that re-ignited the post-Bear Bama...would be Antonio Langham's pick-6 of Shane Matthews in the 1992 SEC Championship game.
Florida had scored two TDs in the 4th quarter to tie the game up, and had momentum. Langham stepped in front of the out pass and ran it all the way back. That was it...that play cemented their undefeated season, conference championship and was a springboard to the NC over Miami.
Langham's INT

Yep, you're right, don't know how I overlooked that one...should've been high up in my runners-up list...
