. Big game? Yes. Heated? No.

Not sure how to take this. You might be the only one to think this

Going back 40 years you have games like the "Water canon game" etc...

I didn't bring up the rivalry! An Auburn poster did by calling the DSOR our Super Bowl!

And you said you win most of them, I said about half, then you moved the goal post to only 15 years. so moving goal post

You have to be in the title game to have a shot? So, Auburn did not have a shot in 2004?
If that is your definition, then Auburn only had a shot in 2013.
Umm, you forgot 2010 again

But in 1957 you were on probation, were you not?

I think you are having trouble with your debate. your NCAA investigation comment about 2010 has morphed to include 1957

quote:

1. Vince Dooley didn't start coaching until 1964.
2. Georgia didn't pay the players, Auburn did.

Um Dooley was on staff at Auburn in 1957 and was involved in both 1957 and 58 major violations

quote:

And Auburn has more major violations. Shall I find the link?

Are you going to gloss over your made up comment? BTW, UGA and Auburn have 7 major ncaa violations each...

I've seen a lot of Auburn fans say the same thing. now, for me, you are right. The Water Canon game became the lightening rod game for me.

Okay. But you said I moved the goal posts. I didn't. The goal posts were moved when the rivalry game was brought up. This thread is about who will win the NC first...which, in all actuality nobody knows. It is naybody's guess. It takes a good team, good schedule and a lot of luck to win the NC. Unless you are Alabama. They typically win with superior talent and depth.

No I didn't. Auburn won the NC that year. Congrats. You finally got your second NC to even up with Georgia.

I was debating 201. I was debating Auburn's total history of NC's. I clearly aid Auburn was on probation or under investigation paying players for both of their NC's. And it is the truth.

AH! I got you! I was unaware of that. Seems odd that Auburn offered him the HC job after that.

Pretty sure Georgia has 6. One less, and Auburn is still considered one of the most corrupt programs in NCAA history.

He's right...might be heated for Auburn but it's moved to big game territory.
