Have you tried a strobe light? I have read that it will drive squirrels insane and they leave pretty much immediately.

I’ve heard that as well.

We thought we had rodents in the house because I could hear scratching in a wall. I couldn’t find any signs but reasearched what to do. One time when I heard it I ran outside and saw it was a squirrel on the roof chewing on the PVC bathroom vent pipe on the roof. The vibrations made it sound like it was coming from in the walls. We put some squirrel proof cover on it and that fixed the problem.

They used to get in our roof all the time but never got in.
