Let’s say you were seeing/dating someone who was recently diagnosed as borderline bipolar. Would it be best to cut losses and run? What can one expect? Honest answers - I knoe I’ll get the wise guys too, but I’d like honest answers.

Depends. If she is on the right medication and actually TAKES THE MEDS as prescribed, you should be "ok." If she doesn't, RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY.

You’re right, Rig. We started seeing each other again a few weeks ago and it seemed she was on track and quite honestly acted “right.” However, a series of events unfolded starting Monday that resulted in her family forcing her to see a psyche doc where she was diagnosed with borderline bipolar.
She really seemed as if she had things under control.

Well, bi-polar disorder is pretty easy to spot especially with women. Women are emotional and usually think with our emotions compared to men, who usually think with logic. Get that girl on the right meds fast.

Thats just the beginning of things. RUN AWAY FAST. No meds, she will go from being depressed as hell one day and climbing the walls with energy the next. It would drive you crazy. Lots of women who are on meds, stop taking them because of the way the meds make them feel. You dont want to be around for that.
