So we are losing 4 of our 5 top 2018 targets but I still believe we will be ok. We are going to miss Ridley’s toe tapping and physicality, How nimble Nauta is for a TE, and mecole’s ability to stretch a defense. Fromm is going to continue to get better and I believe Tyler Simmons is going to take on a big role along with Holloman and Robertson. I also think we will get a lot from Kearis Jackson, Bush, and Landers. Not sure on Blount. I expect a large contribution from Blaylock out of the gate. Anyone else have any thoughts?
I am also wondering about the return game and who we rely on. Maybe Cook, Robertson, Kearis Jackson, or Blaylock? Thoughts?

I thought Kearis looked good at running back. I'd be interested in seeing what he does there.

We have plenty of playmakers but the problem is whether smart/Chaney change their philosophy this year.

Just let our athletes get out there and make plays. Yes Robertson, may not block well but let the dude run and get him in space.

I suspect Robertson will be our kick returner. The guy can fly!

Tommy Bush is in the same situation Wimms was in when he committed. Tall, but can he catch. Bush is a lot faster than Wimms. At 6'5, if he get his weight over 200lbs and work on his pass catching he could be special as a redshirt freshman.

What about our "other" tall receiver, the 6-5 Matt Landers? He showed up thin as a rail (I think he was about 185) but by last spring, Smart was raving about how much progress he had made in his game [“He’s a force to be reckoned with,” Smart said of Landers’ work on the scout team. “I’ll be honest with you.”] - plus he bulked up to 200 lbs.

Landers and Bush make for two very tall targets.
