No it shouldn't.
Players would be tampered with and recruited continually after they sign (legal or not) and coaches could take players with em from job to job.The minute a player becomes dissatisfied he can just abandon his commitment.
The only way a player should be eligible would be if he graduates or the coach who recruited him is fired or leaves before the kid gets on campus
