Mizzou should jump on a chance to leave the SEC for the B1G.

Well, the SEC was our second choice...
The football is great but the culture in the South sucks and its history is tainted with cultural and societal black marks. Its a poor region that is generally under educated and underdeveloped.
Missouri should jump at any opportunity to align itself with states and Universities that are more on its level economically, culturally and academically.
Its not about competing or not competing in athletics. Its about being among peers and most all the southern states and universities are not peers to Missouri or The University of Missouri and many fall woefully short of meeting that status.
Missouri and Texas should eventually round out the superior all around B1G conference if cards were played right when the Big 12 grant of rights expires.
SEC loses an AAU institution but the SEC isn't that concerned about its academic profile.

Sounds good to me. I recently spent a week in Missouri though.
It's not much so I'm not sure how far I'd go with the Missouri is better talk but you do you.

Mizzou would be left out in the cold if it left the SEC. No other conference would allow a SJW poop swastika institution into its membership. It's a shame the SEC overvalued the St Louis TV market and took you pink p*ssy hat wearing crybabies in in the first place. Whoever signed off on that bum deal should be skinned alive and then boiled in hot oil.

I know the big10 is awesome, but we have warmer weather in the SEC country and Better food and hotter women... please please please stay. your journalism school can learn the twang of southern culture and something to write about how so many overcome poverty to become great.
