I know I'll be called a hater and we'll talk about Cam, and blah blah blah, but can someone answer a question for me?
The other night, during the bama game, the TV pans to Josh Jacobs (who I think is a FANTASTIC rb) and begins to talk about him being homeless and struggles that he's had and what not. I couldn't help but notice the huge diamond earrings in the homeless kids ears. With that being said, here's my question... How does a kid with the talent a skillset of Jacobs, at a position like RB which we all know has a limited shelf life, not declare for the draft if he's projected to go in the 2nd round?
How does the fact that this kid from a poor family that was once homeless turn down life changing money, and that NOT throw red flags all across college football??

you're going to get a bunch of

But it's most likely that the REC pays better than the 2nd round or later does. They won't admit it though.

The correct answer is that he wanted to graduate from college. He knows that 3 years is the average life span of a running back and wanted a way to make a living after the nfl.

Jacob's will go to the NFL. His family isn't homeless anymore, but they are poor. He has a young son. He needs to take the money.

Also, those aren't real diamonds.

The correct answer is that either A) he would lose money leaving bama or B) he's been bought and paid for and now TOLD that he can't leave yet due to what he's been given and now has to "pay" back ..

Three years in the NFL would yield him enough money and contacts for his life after the NFL.

Looks like the only thing Auburn can get these days is a trolling trophy.

Let's do this your way:
a) you're a very bad troll
b) you're an idiot
c) you're all of the above (which is my choice)

How am I trolling by pointing out something obvious? I mean the same thing happened with Tim Williams and Johnathan Allen. These kids don't just come back just because. Think logically here,.. there has to be a reason, right?

Do you honestly know he doesn't?

My question was about him turning down NFL type money to come back.

What's up little bro? Happy New Year.

First, those aren't real diamonds.

Second, this is the first year Jacobs is eligible for the draft and none of us know where he is truly projected to go or what his decision will be. If he is projected to go in the first couple of rounds he probably will go.

Third, if he does stay who are you to say or know that it wouldn't end up being a better financial decision if, for example, he could improve his draft stock by a round or two and secure the extra millions in guaranteed money that comes with it? He has 240 carries total in his entire career which is less than most feature backs have in just one college season. So he has plenty of tread left and maybe the ability to show even more as a more of a feature back.

Fourth, who are you to say or know whether he wants to achieve some goal like becoming a graduate, an All-American, an All-SEC, etc that he hasn't achieved yet?

In short, little bro, you know virtually nothing about his situation, his goals, his thought process, or his future, so you trying to throw shade on him and the Alabama program is just a petulant jealous look.

This guy's living the dream. Have you seen Alabama's facilities? He's got little or no expenses...he's getting a paid for education, AND he's probably improving his draft stock which equates to much more money. Your "logic" comes from a biased point of view...kids all over the country are doing the same thing.

Kids all over the country rarely do the same thing when they're being talked about in regards to being high draft picks.

Again, what does this have to do with supporting his family?

Kids go to school to get a job and earn money to support their family, correct?
