All they have to do is wait you out and continue recruiting like they have been. You're in an impossible situation relying on blowing smoke up gullible kid's asses.

Wait us out? It's only going to get worse.

As more and more kids are born into a media era where the SEC can do no wrong and the Big 12 is a frickup even when doing good we continue to get a boost. Each year more and more Texas children are indoctrinated into the powerful SEC brand and we are the only way they can play in such an amazing league and still have all their family easily come to their games. There is literally a sucker born every day.

I mean think about this: an A&M that hasn't won a title since 1939 just beat OU in recruiting, a team that has been to back to back playoff games. That simply shouldn't happen, and it did because the Big 12 brand is an albatross dragging down both Texas and OU. Hell we have beaten OU in recruiting more years than not in the SEC era after never doing it in the last decade of the original Big 12. Why? Because the SEC brand is that powerful.

The only thing Texas and OU are waiting out is the Big 12 GOR to take Netflix's blood money in a desperate attempt to try and undo this situation in another 6-7 years.

It will follow the exact same path as Sumlin.

1. Bring in new coach to create excitement around the program.
2. Sell SEC conference patch because can't sell program.
3. Sell National Titles to come (that never come)
4. Go 8-4 every season
5. Watch recruiting tank on a downward curve similar to seasonal October Furkpoint graph.
6. Fire coach and start entire process over after 5 years.

ETA: Aggot has not had to recruit against a reconstituted whorn since aggot left for the SEC. Whorn is reconstituting.
