You could also be talking about the knee on the ground interception play.

Not really. He clearly has it in his hand while his knee is down.

Never mind the refs missed a targeting on that play that wasn't reviewed.

Have yet to see or hear a single sports show say it was a completed catch and a fumble. ESPN said it was the right call. SEC Network said it was the right call.

You ought to be crying about DBU allowing Ags to convert on 4th and 18, 3 and 11, 3rd and 14, etc.. You should be crying about Ags going 50% on 3rd down conversions for the entire game.

You know... instead of sniveling over judgement calls.

You must not watch a lot of SEC football, there are plenty of plays reviewed that make no sense often times at the benefit of certain teams. There are plenty of plays not reviewed that should be with no explanation from the league office.

Are you saying this play wasn't reviewed?

yes, most of them keep saying that. They really don't know much about what happened.

Here's another thing...and I'm not necessarily talking about this particular play. Define "reviewed". It's possible for the review official to see one replay before the next snap and see enough to decide that he doesn't need to stop play to look at it further. Did he "review" it in that case? Yes.

Nicholas, that is an excellent suggestion. Here is another... the freaking TV talking heads need to shut up about second guessing the refs. They didn’t used to do it, but now it is an every play occurrence. Often they get the rules wrong and their subsequent I’ll informed opinions just incite a fan base with their crap.

A prime example a few years ago was the Notre Dame interference-fumble recovery against Alabama. The announcers talked about it for ten minutes yet never understood the rule. Six years later, the play is mentioned and most STILL don’t know the rule.

Except the refs told ole Ed to not call a timeout as the upstairs guys were already looking at it.

Danielson often does. He and Nessler had no clue last Saturday that the "out of the tackle box" exception for intentional grounding doesn't exist on a flea flicker. They couldn't understand why Stidham's pass was intentional grounding, and the never corrected themselves.

Subsequently, a lot of Auburn posters made fools of themselves whining about the call.
