Mizzou QBs that dealt with the most adversity

I'd have to say James Franklin leads the bunch and Drew a close second, Brad Smith rounds out the third spot.
James ahead of Drew because:
1 - A fanbase that wasn't particularly fond of him because he wasn't heavily recruited or a Missouri guy.
2 - Transitioned the team from the Big 12 to SEC when our offensive line was bad.
3 - Helped lead the team to an SEC East Championship after all the issues from the first year.
4 - He got injured but still refused to take pain killers, I have respect for that.
5 - Helped us unknowingly by getting Tyler Gabbert out of here, in a way.
What's your list?

Franklin was a 4 star recruit. I wouldn’t say he wasn’t heavily recruited

Franklin was tough as hell but rubbed fans the wrong way for some reason. Plus he responded to negative fans on social media. Big mistake.

Lock had far more expectations to deal with than Franklin.

Franklin was easily the best player Bruce Walker recruited in his career at Missouri.

Brad Smith
Mizzou had a losing record 15 of 17 seasons before he became the starter. He came in with a new head coach to change the entire program. He didn’t have the offense or defense around him to change the program with a new coach.
He was able to help change the program in a conference that had won 4 of the last 8 national championships.
With adversity of changing a team he has helped change the program. Since his first season the Tigers have had winning seasons 12 of the 16 seasons. Many people give the credit to Pinkel, but without Smith at QB would Missouri have changed the program around?
He helped with recruiting to a college with a huge losing record over the last 36 years. .
He gave the Tigers what they needed. A losing team was put on his shoulders and he succeeded.
He changed the program more than any QB has over the last 4 decades In my opinion Pinkel would not have changed the program around so quick without Smith.
