With a 4 team playoff, I’m not sure many teams are going to pack their schedules with 50/50 proposition games.
I think entering an PAC12, ACC or Big10/12 challenge might get some quality matchups scheduled.
A coach might need Alabama St and Liberty to get that bowl game and keep the market rate fans engaged.
In the SEC, if you win your division or go 11-1, the chances of making top 4 are pretty good. Most teams play at least one big OOC game per year. I don’t see teams signing up for Ohio State to open, bringing in Oklahoma for homecoming and play neutral site opener with Clemson.
